Valarie Davis not only needed a web presence to feature her work, the website had to include the ability to sell physical artwork and allow for simple management of inventory. The Squarespace platform was selected as the best choice for the backend with an easy-to-use interface for the client. A custom theme was developed from scratch to showcase her work effectively.

The goal of the website was to integrate ecommerce into the structure, combining the features of a portfolio and storefront. Visitors are introduced to the artist, then invited to browse and purchase physical works of art. The client has full control of the ecommerce functionality – from product displays to shipping.
